Here are a few highlights from our 2024 End of Year Celebration held on 3 December 2024 in Melbourne. It is always a great time when our amazing Interpreters and Translators in Victoria come together to share stories and meet new colleagues. This year was a special occasion as we thanked Professor Kathy Laster for her leadership as the outgoing Chair of our Board of Directors.
We were honoured by the attendance of the Hon. Nick Staikos, who was then the Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier and Multicultural Affairs. He now serves as the Minister for Consumer Affairs and Local Government.
The event also kicked off our celebrations of the 50 year history of LanguageLoop. Stay tuned for more celebrations throughout 2025.
We proudly support Annual events hosted by the Victorian Multicultural Commission. Their important work links communities and government, as they support and advocate for culturally and linguistically diverse Victorians.
Cultural Diversity Week is celebrated every year in March, and it brings Victorians together to celebrate our state’s diverse and powerful multicultural communities.
This year’s theme is “Embrace the Journey-Shape our Future” This is an important theme for LanguageLoop in 2025 as we celebrate our 50th year of providing language services.
