VITS sponsors the ASLIA Victorian Interpreting Distinction Awards 2013

VITS, the Victorian Interpreting & Translating Service, is once again proud to support the Australian Sign Language Interpreters Association (ASLIA) Victorian Interpreting Distinction Awards 2013.

These awards, this year to be held on Saturday June 22 2013, are a celebration of excellence in the field of Auslan interpreting and an opportunity for interpreters, deaf people and the wider community to recognise and pay tribute to professional and dedicated interpreters, interpreting advocates and organisations that support interpreters.

VITS CEO George Bisas said, “Auslan interpreting remains a critical service that enables deaf and hard of hearing Victorians access essential health, legal and education services. Our company is pleased to support an event that recognises and celebrates the achievements of all interpreters, organisations, agencies and associations that make up the field of Auslan Interpreting.”
