Professor Louise Kloot, an experienced university academic with extensive experience in corporate governance and finance, joins LanguageLoop’s independent Board of Directors.
Currently a member of the Estate Agents Council, Louise has a keen interest in social and philanthropic issues.
“I’ve always had an interest in social responsibility and aiding those in need,” Louise said.
“Although I’ve been on some community organisation boards in the past, I think the services LanguageLoop provides is critical.”
A senior academic at heart, Louise has had various management roles in public and private universities in Australia and overseas. She has been Head of Departments of Accounting at Swinburne and Victoria Universities, Director of Quality Assurance for Swinburne’s Malaysian Campus, Associate Dean Research at Swinburne, and Head of Business at MIT.
Currently learning French in her spare time, Louise has published numerous articles on corporate governance, performance management, local government management and gender issues in management.
“I’m really excited to be a part of LanguageLoop’s journey and look forward to evoking positive change in the sector,” Louise said.
