LanguageLoop is pleased to announce an Australian-first professional development course designed to familiarise interpreters with the nuances and intricacies of the Queensland court system. In collaboration with Queensland Courts Service, interpreters will have the opportunity to expand their professional skills and confidence in the legal system, and gain NAATI professional development points.

LanguageLoop is collaborating with Paul Ramage, Executive Manager, Queensland Courts Service,to present this immersive experience in a mock court setting for our interpreters. The first three courses will take place in Brisbane on the 2nd, 5th and 9th of September, and will focus on the business of the courts, court protocols and etiquette including expectations and protocols for interpreters in a court setting. The format includes a presentation initially, leading into a mock trail experience followed by Q&A.
