Speaking in Tongues – A Sound Investment

Speaking in Tongues. A Sound Investment - LanguageLoop

With almost a quarter of Australians speaking a language other than English at home our CEO, Elizabeth Compton, spoke to The CEO Magazine about the huge opportunity many Australian businesses are missing out on.

“Our latest research amongst multilingual Australians revealed their willingness to buy, pay more, recommend and stay loyal to businesses that catered to their language preferences,” Ms Compton said.

“Businesses so often strive for personalisation, yet language the foundation of personalisation, is so often overlooked.”

With 49% of Australians either born overseas or have a parent born overseas, it’s surprising that the majority of Australian companies are still only speaking to their customers in English.
