CEO Elizabeth Compton reflects on 2017

This year has been a year of many firsts for VITS LanguageLoop. An exciting re-brand, an exclusive partnership with an Australian icon, a world-first study in to mental health research and introducing Australia’s first dedicated Mobile Video Interpreting App. These are just some of the highlights!

At LanguageLoop we are reimagining how language services can be delivered. We understand in a global world, language is an everyday part of how organisations, businesses and communities connect and thrive.

Over the past 12 months we have made that happen via our partnership with Australia Post for personal document translations, funding world first research to deliver better services to the culturally and linguistically diverse communities accessing mental health services and with the launch of our industry first on demand mobile interpreting app. This technology will make it easier for those in regional and remote areas to more efficiently access an interpreter.

Our year was marked by record growth as we expanded nationally, brought our services to over 380 new clients and continued to work with and deliver services for our current clients.

You may have also noticed that we look different. We’ll always recognise our Victorian Government heritage, but with significant national clients (and in fact international clients) it was timely to hit the market with a new, fresh identity to better reflect who we are.

From the team at VITS LanguageLoop, we wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

We look forward to sharing more and more firsts in 2018!
