VITS, the Victorian Interpreting & Translating Service, is pleased to launch its “VITS Industry Innovation Grants Program” to fund cutting-edge research and professional development initiatives.
VITS, a Victorian Government-owned business enterprise, offers leading-edge language services to culturally and linguistically diverse Victorians for over 30 years.
This Industry Innovation Grants Program is designed to research industry standards and practices, as well as establish new training and development programs and processes that benefit its language professionals, its clients and the culturally and linguistically diverse Victorians they seek to assist.
“As an industry leader, VITS plays a crucial role in the Victorian community and therefore has a responsibility to innovate and develop the language services industry.” explains the Hon Phil Honeywood, Chairman of the VITS Board of Directors.
VITS CEO George Bisas added, “The VITS Industry Innovation Grants Program will aim to fund initiatives that add value to this very important industry.”
